Gardening took a bit of a toll on my skin today. Even with a hat and sunscreen a pink stripe of war paint still resides under my eyes and across my nose.

Sun+elevation+outdoor enthusiasm=tender face.
Thus, this hydrating, soothing After Sun Cream. It’s thick enough to really moisturize without being sticky, and soothes burns with aloe and lavendar. Extra soothing if you store it in the refrigerator.
And, like an good things seem to be, this cream is simple and natural. The fantastic five ingredients used in this cream are aloe, shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, and lavendar essential oil. I used this ratio:
3 parts aloe (Scrape the inside of your plant, or pure aloe vera can be purchased)
2 parts coconut oil
1 part shea butter
1 part olive oil
Lavendar essential oil (use your own preference depending on the size of the batch you’re whipping up)
Add aloe and lavendar to a bowl or the bowl of a stand up mixer. Melt shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil in a mason jar in a boiling pot of water. When all oils are liquid, add them to the aloe/lavendar bowl, stir, then put the whole sweet soup into the refrigerator. Next. let it cool out for about an hour, or until solidified. Whip with beater attachment or with handheld, scraping sides a few times, until all of it is whipped up.

Stick burnt face in bowl.
